The Role:
- Lead electrical design across all RIBA stages
- Coordinate systems including LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, small power, and containment
- Produce and review detailed calculations, layouts, and specifications
- Attend client meetings and site visits, ensuring delivery aligns with expectations
- Guide junior engineers and support their technical development
- Work closely with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure full compliance with BS 7671, CIBSE guidance, and UK building regulations
About You:
- 5+ years of UK building services experience in electrical design
- Confident in leading projects and contributing to multidisciplinary coordination
- Strong grasp of IET Wiring Regs, UK regulations, and relevant design standards
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, and software for lighting and cable calculations
- Chartered or working towards Chartership with CIBSE or IET
- Motivated to develop and take ownership of project delivery
